Mark Lunn

Founder

Mark founded Caburn in 2018 after 20 years in communications consultancy advising public and private companies at the senior level. He specialises in financial services across reputation management, financial reporting, fundraising and IPOs, thought content and crisis management. Clients include FTSE 100 companies, international financial centres, private equity funds, banks, insurance, asset managers, family offices and start-ups.

Mark also spent 5 years in-house as MD Communications and Corporate Affairs at a large sovereign wealth fund in the Middle East then ICG plc, and recently at a think tank. He started in advertising at JWT in London, then Shanghai and Tokyo, working with Unilever, Nike and other global brands.

Anne Murray

Public Affairs lead

Anne joined Caburn in 2020 and leads political and stakeholder engagement. She is an experienced political communications professional and campaigner and focuses on the financial services sector. She has experience of creating effective political communications strategies in both the UK and EU for banks, asset managers, charities, think tanks, alternative fuels, transport and aviation companies.

Anne also works part-time for the APPG on Fair Business Banking, managing communications, social media and stakeholder engagement. She brings a deep understanding of Westminster combined with a wide network of contacts.  She speaks fluent French.

Kelsey Traynor

Financial PR lead

Kelsey joined Caburn in 2021 and leads financial PR and corporate communications. She has over 10 years of communications consultancy experience gained in financial PR, investor relations and corporate communications consultancies working for both publicly listed and privately held  companies.  

Kelsey specialises in financial services, mining, leisure, energy and industrials and brings a strong personal network in the City and international media. She has transactional experience of IPOs and M&A including hostile bids and board restructurings. She speaks Spanish and Portugese fluently.

Aidan Muller

Digital strategy and social media

Aidan is a strategic communications expert who majors on digital and social media. With close to 20 years of experience, he specialises in corporate communications, particularly for sectors with political sensitivities.

In the ten years he has been a consultant, Aidan has defined the digital offer for eight corporate and political communication agencies, including Edelman's former Energy and Industrials practice. He has advised some of the largest brands in the world on high-profile issues, including the World Economic Forum, General Electric, Santander, Shell, White & Case, the OECD and the University of Manchester.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Aidan was a journalist for three years, and then worked in government communications (including time in the Prime Minister's Office at Number 10). He was one of the digital leaders who introduced social media to the UK government.
